Psycho-education for young people with mild intellectual disabilities and their parents
This project studies the effects of psycho-education on young people with mild intellectual disabilities and their parents. Psycho-education can help someone understand better what an intellectual disability is, how it can affect a person’s life and how to find coping strategies. The aim is to find out whether psycho-education is effective in helping people in this target group. And what kinds of results could be expected for both children and their parents.
