Digital visits during Covid-19
Due to Covid-19, more than 70.000 people with intellectual disabilities living in residential facilities were unable, or only partially able, to receive visitors. Healthcare authorities therefore encouraged the use of digital tools as an alternative to physical contact. In the Digital Visits project, the researcher examined the extent to which the use of these digital tools meets the abilities and needs of people with intellectual disabilities.
