Parents and professionals speak out

Equal collaboration between people with intellectual disabilities, their families, and professionals is receiving increasing attention. Care organization Sherpa values strong cooperation between children and young people with intellectual disabilities, their parents, and professionals.

The AWVB used concept mapping to explore what all parties consider important for good collaboration. The findings highlight key elements such as attitude, relationships, mutual recognition, and the practical implementation of cooperation.
