To retain new care professionals, it is important to understand their motivations and expectations.

The AWVB surveyed 124 nearly graduated vocational (MBO) students in social care and nursing who planned to work with people with intellectual disabilities. The research explored what they want and expect from their future roles.

The key findings and recommendations are summarized in this factsheet.
