For people with profound (multiple) intellectual disabilities and their caregivers, engaging in meaningful interaction moments is not always easy.

To provide caregivers with more guidance, the AWVB investigated what makes an interaction moment with someone with a profound intellectual disability meaningful for them. The study also examined which circumstances support the occurrence of a meaningful interaction moment.

De results of this study are summarized in this factsheet.
