Control over one’s own outpatient treatment
Having control over one’s own life and care is important for everyone, including people with mild intellectual disabilities or borderline intellectual functioning and psychiatric problems.
Together with OPSY (Center for Orthopedagogy and Psychiatry, part of GGzE), the AWVB studied what clients, relatives, and professionals consider essential for client participation and control in outpatient treatment. The results are summarized in this factsheet.
